Running To Provide Hope to Families that have Children Suffering from Cancer

Many of our dear friends have faced the heartbreaking battle of pediatric cancer. Among them are Camy (Camryn) Smith (2001-2016), Dom (Dominic) Lafoon (1999-2017), and Addi (Addison) Conley (2004-2022). In honor of them and countless other children and families affected by this disease, I am undertaking a 19.3-mile run to fight childhood cancer.

What bonded these children together, aside from their illness, was their love for Disney. This is where I step in. I’ve decided to participate in the 2024 Disney Wine and Dine run on their behalf because they are unable to do so, and it’s crucial to commemorate their lives and spirits.

My efforts are in support of Kellsie’s Hope Foundation, a remarkable organization with a mission to instill hope in families with children battling cancer. They provide vital support for trips and gifts that might otherwise be out of reach, as well as contribute to childhood cancer research and provide educational scholarships for healthcare providers.
